Wright Sigmund comes to Next Realty after three years at CBRE in its Retail Services Division. He has an extensive understanding of real estate markets and investment analysis, having represented over 3 million square feet of new and existing mixed-use, lifestyle, urban and neighborhood retail projects. In that capacity, Wright provides strategic planning, merchandising, financial modeling and negotiation advise to his developer-clients across the Washington-Baltimore Region.
On the tenant side, Sigmund utilizes extensive market knowledge and aggressive negotiation to secure the best locations on the best terms for his clients. He has represented both national and regional clients such as 7-Eleven, New York Cleaners and Matsu Japanese in a number of major markets across the Mid-Atlantic.
Wright also has experience in the disposition of excess space for Rite Aid, Starbucks and Wachovia Bank.
Sigmund is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Real Estate Development at The University of Maryland, the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is a member of the Realtors Commercial Alliance.
Away from the office, Sigmund is a fifth generation Washingtonian, active in the community, and is involved in a number of philanthropic organizations, most notably the Trust for the National Mall, the International Foundation for Burn Survivors and Friends of St. Jude’s.
