Next Realty LLC Signs Catherines for 4,500 SF, Beauty Star for 4,600 SF, in Calumet City, IL
Northbrook, IL (March 27, 2007) – Next Realty LLC announced today that it has added two new tenants, renewed a 50,000-square-foot Sports Authority lease and will renovate the façade of its 63,000-square-foot retail development at 1530 S. Torrance, located just south of the River Oaks Shopping Center in Calumet City, Ill. Along with the Sports Authority lease extension, new tenants include Catherines Plus Sizes and Beauty Star.
Catherines Plus Sizes, a plus-size women’s apparel store, will occupy approximately 4,500 square feet and Beauty Star, a beauty supply firm, will occupy 4,600 square feet. Sports Authority, the property’s anchor, renewed the lease of its 50,000-square-foot space with a long-term commitment. Other tenants of the fully occupied center include New China Buffet and For Eyes. The property sees an estimated traffic count of more than 29,000 per day and is located 25 miles south of Chicago.
